These are below mentioned guidelines for the Book review assignment in EVS (Social Studies).
- The review of the any book of Social Science (class I-VIII, NCERT) should not be less then 1000 words.
- Title of the book, year of publication, place of publication, publisher, number of pages, Price (please indicate paperback or hard cover) if available. (mention all these)
- Author(s) or editor(s) first and last name(s) (please indicate if it is an edited book)
- what kind of issues, sub-topic and content is been discussed in the book.
- Give comments about the strength and weaknesses of the book as you observed while reviewing.
- What kind of aspects you feel that book is missing in the content which should be included according to the relevant age for which book is there.
- Give your views about the language of the book, level of difficulty, evaluation part etc.
